The EEF is home to the European Esports family and aims to present a shared vision for
Esports in Europe in order to unite and harmonize all key actors of Esports with the special
attention to the basic values of European communities: transparency, fair play, sports
spirit, human values and inclusiveness. The EEF currently has 43 members and is working to unite
the whole European continent.
After two years of discussions and preparations, the European Sports Federation, known as
"Esports Europe" was founded by prominent national sports movements in
Europe. The organization was founded in 2020 in Brussels, at the inaugural meeting
held in the European Parliament, hosted by the Belgian Esport Federation.
Membership in Esports Europe includes prominent Esports tournament organizers such as
ESL and ESFORCE, together with national Esports associations and federations in
Europe. Some of these associations are already recognized in their countries and recognized as
official body for Esports that deals with sports in their country.
Esports Europe represents the interests of the European sports communities in the institutions
International Sports Federation (IESF).
This year, the EEF is organizing the first European Summit of Sport (EES), at which it will
those interested in sports (global and e-sports brands, government officials) can
discuss the future of sports in Europe.
In 2022, the EEF organized the European Championship in several games, such as
CS: GO, DOTA 2, Rocket League and others. These tournaments are held in different
locations across Europe (Albania, Azerbaijan, Montenegro and Romania).
EEF is presenting itself at the Vibe factory festival in Serbia. At the conference "E sport is
sport ”will bring closer the mission and vision of their organization, given that they are our country
seen as a great potential in the development of e-sports.
